Join EMBA for an evening of trail TLC in McKinnon Ravine. We’ll tackle light trimming and drainage on two of the area’s most popular routes to keep them smooth, safe, and ride-ready.

Trails & Work Scope

  • Root Canal
  • Back Breaker

 

Type of Work (Level 1):

 

  • Edge-trimming overgrowth
  • Clearing small drainage channels to prevent water pooling

 

What to Bring

  • Footwear: sturdy hiking or work boots
  • Gloves: your own work gloves
  • Eye wear: safety glasses or goggles (recommended)
  • Clothing: dress for the weather (rain jacket if needed)
  • Gear: water bottle and a light snack

 

EMBA will supply all trimming tools.

 

Check-In & Schedule

  • 6:15 PM – Arrive at Summit Drive & 142 St, check in with Wanda.
  • 6:30 PM – Safety briefing and trail assignments
  • 6:45–8:45 PM – Trim & drainage work on Root Canal and Back Breaker
  • 8:45–9:00 PM – Debrief, tool return, and wrap-up

 

Please arrive by 6:15 to ensure an on-time start.
