Overview
Join us for a hands-on work session as we kick off the next phase of site prep at the Edmonton Bike Park. We’ll be doing light trimming, trail prep, and general site cleanup—exact tasks to be finalized on-site based on needs.
Work Scope
Work Level: 1 (light to moderate physical effort)
Type of Work:
- Trimming overgrowth along trail edges
- Basic trail prep (brushing, clearing debris)
- Site cleanup and prep around key build areas
- Final task assignments TBD during our walk-through
What to Bring
- Footwear: sturdy hiking or work boots
- Gloves: your own work gloves
- Clothing: weather-appropriate layers (rain/sun protection as needed)
- Hydration & Snacks: water bottle and a light snack
EMBA will supply all necessary tools, and disposal materials.
Schedule
- 6:15 PM – Check in with Josh, pick up tools
- 6:30 PM – Safety briefing and site overview
- 6:45 PM – Task walk-through and crew assignments
- 6:55 PM–8:25 PM – Work session (trimming, prep, cleanup)
- 8:25 PM–8:30 PM – Debrief, return tools, wrap up
